Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on July 2, 2026

WHAT WEB ACCESSIBILITY IS

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Our Commitment to Accessibility
Audacity 2 Care is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continuously improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our community programs, resources, and donor tools are fully reachable.
Conformance Status
We strive to conform our website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
Accessibility Features on Our Site
To help ensure an inclusive experience, we design and build our digital spaces with the following practices in mind:

  • Alt Text: Providing descriptive alternative text for meaningful images so screen readers can interpret them accurately.

  • Keyboard Navigation: Ensuring the website can be fully navigated using only a keyboard.

  • Clear Hierarchy: Organizing text with proper heading structures (<h1>, <h2>, etc.) so assistive technologies can easily parse the page.

  • Color Contrast: Choosing text and background color combinations that meet standard legibility requirements for users with low vision.

  • Form Labels: Ensuring all contact, volunteer, and donation forms have clear, accessible labels.

Ongoing Review and Limitations
While we strive for complete accessibility across our entire site, web standards evolve, and content changes frequently. Some legacy pages or third-party integrations (such as embedded maps, social media feeds, or external donation gateways) may occasionally fall short of our target standards. We actively monitor these areas and work with our partners to resolve barriers as we find them.
Feedback and Contact Information
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or need assistance accessing any resources on our site, please reach out to us directly:
